We traveled down to Laredo, Texas this past weekend to fly at the Washington's Birthday Celebration Air Show. Unfortunately, the weather was uncooperative and the air show was cancelled, but we certainly enjoyed the hospitality of the folks in south Texas.

We've just returned from a very successful ICAS convention, and we're looking forward to another exciting air show season. In 2007 we will return to several familiar locations and fly at some new venues. Check the show schedule for dates near you.

The Trojan Phlyers Demonstration Team has just returned from a very successful international trip to fly at the Alextremo Air Show in Acapulco, Mexico. Flying some 34 sorties of 42 plus flight hours including 6 hours down and back, the team tested the ability of maintenance team to keep up with any potential problems, but the planes came thru in fine order. The demo team flew some 12 show or practice sorties performing for the thousands of air show fans lining the beach along Acapulco Bay. Our hosts were outstanding and the hospitality very humbling.

The Trojan Phlyers regret to inform our fans, that Neil Anderson, one of our founding partners, demo pilots, and friend, died on 18 September after a long and painful struggle with cancer. His thoughtful guidance and hard work kept the team moving forward even in the worst of circumstances, and his good humor and strength preserved until the end. He is irreplaceable, and his presence and mentoring will be greatly missed by his family and those of us who knew and flew with him.  Godspeed Neil.
